Miss Money began her gospel career at age 2 and her classical career at age 10.  As a junior at Langham Creek High School, Money won the talent show and was recruited to the High School for the Performing & Visual Arts.  Money received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston.  Upon graduating Sum Cum Laude, Money began her company, Money Talks.  In 2005, she was named a Black Heritage Society Jr. Achiever and recorded hooks for Spice 1 and Teck N9ne. Money has engineered records for Snoop Dogg’s producer, Keith Clark, Billy Cook and Rob G of Universal Records.  Dubbed an "underground musical genius" by Curve Magazine, she has appeared in The New York Times, Computer Music Magazine, URB Magazine, Bitch Magazine, Go NYC Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, Instinct Magazine, OutSmart Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, Sapience Magazine and the documentary, Pick Up Da Mic which recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival alongside premieres by Johnny Depp and Madonna.

A.R.K. was born on the 16th of September in Houston, Texas, Carverdale to be exact; she was not your girl next door, but the girl literally on the other side of the tracks.   Life as she knew it was more than open fields and dirt roads.  Something was calling her she just didn't know what. She would soon find out, as would the world.  The 80's baby built her craft from an era where dope dealers, prostitution, crack houses, kidnapping, shootings, and racial profiling was in clear view of where her grandparents tried to teach her that the world stretches beyond those things. Armed with the determination and passion her grandparents instilled within her to be "more than your enviornment" she began writing poetry as an outlet.  A.r.k. stands for 'A Rare Kind' because honestly, that's just what she is. A rare kind of God given talent that the world doesn't hear more often if not. So you can call her a breath of fresh air, a change in theme, the greatest female mc, the greatest mc all together, a catalyst in an experiment or an artist with a little something extra.
